Indian Valley sends several players to PAC all-star team
League officials announced the spring all-star teams for the Principals Athletic Conference. It was Indian Valley's inaugural year in the PAC and resulted in a high successful debut.
The Braves won the title for baseball and were honored with four players picking up first team status. They included Johnny Iacobucci, Logan Cozart, Logan Gray and Bobby Hall. Zack Baker earned honorable mention.
Indian Valley's Shannon McComb was chosen Coach of the Year while Manchester's Colin Keim was Player of the Year.
In softball, the Lady Brave's Leanna McMillen made the first team while teammate Tana Gibbs picked up honorable mention
Andrea Arney of Fairless was Player of the Year while Timken's Cheryl Morse was Coach of the Year. Fairless won the softball league title.
In girl's track, CVCA's Carolyn Case was MVP while CVCA's George Hallis was Coach of the Year.
In boy's track, Timken's Michael Rickett was MVP while Jeff Port of CVCA and Mark Shutler of Triway were tabbed Co-Coaches of the Year.
All-league track squads were determined at the PAC meet that was reported on several weeks ago.
