WOOSTER The Indian Valley defense pitched a shutout and the offense came through with steady ball control for a 21-0 win over Triway on Friday.

The Braves (4-3, 3-1 PAC) dominated the ground game by outrushing their outrushing the Titans 232-43.

Jake Davis led the running corp. with 113 yards on nine carries while Dominic Bell ran for 86 yards and Dusty Byers finished with 41 yards plus two TDs one rushing and one receiving.

Byers opened the scoring for the Braves in the second quarter on a 21-yard run. The two-point conversion failed. Davis followed that play with an 18-yard run for six points and quarterback Kyle Lehighs two-point conversion run made it 14-0 by halftime.

Byers scored Indian Valleys last touchdown with a four-yard TD catch from Lehigh in the third quarter. Konnor Cools extra point kick gave the final score of 21-0.

Lehigh finished the night by going 7-of-11 through the air for 152 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions.

Triway (0-7, 0-4 PAC) totaled 138 yards of offense including 95 passing. Quarterback Derek Carmichael completed 12-of-27 passes but threw four interceptions.

Indian Valley led in first downs, 12-8, and turned the ball over once on a fumble.

The Braves next host Fairless on Friday with kickoff at 7 p.m.
